After a long waiting period it is finally here. I bought the song on itunes mildly satisfied. It is a catchy song with bouncing beats but it's nothing unique. In fact many other sites and blogs are calling it a rip off of express yourself by madonna. I agree in the message and the slight melody of the chorus. However get this madonna's own hit was a ripoff of respect yourself by the staple sisters. It doesn't show plagiarism in these artist just inspiration and sampling. Early live versions of express yourself started with a snippet of everybody madonna's first hit. And more importantly born this way out of all her songs sounds like a 3 minute bottled gay pride parade, village people concert,and san francisco wrapped into a song. It may not be epic but it is truly memorable.
